WATER FALLING FROM THE SKY
I love Rain! Love the smell of it. I like walking and driving in it. I like watching the rain while sitting on my front porch or listening to the sound of it while sipping a hot cup of cocoa in front of the fireplace. It’s been raining here in San Diego these past couple days and since we don’t get rain too often I enjoy it.
San Diego’s Weather Men have their own interpretation of what a storm is. It’s funny because whenever we are expecting rain they consider it a storm. It can drizzle, sprinkle or shower and they call it a storm. In New Orleans our storms consisted of lightning, thunder and heavy rain which flooded the streets. I recall several times when lightning struck in the house it was so bad that objects on the wall would fall down.
There are places that rain nearly everyday like London and Washington State and people that reside here can’t seem to tolerate a little rain every year.
It irks me when I hear Californians complain about a little rain when it doesn’t rain here too often. They want it to be sunny all the time; what is so wrong with a little variety or at least a little rain sometimes. Besides, California is a desert; therefore we need the rain and I don’t have to worry about watering my plants for a few days.
So, enjoy the rain!

Mulysa and you have that great front porch with the swing on it to enjoy the rain.
Canine, we still have that "Rain" CD that you made for Screg's Birthday one year. Since the Sun is creeping back on us I think I'll play it and hope that it will bring good luck on rain soon.
